Judd Trump, Michael Holt, David Gray
and Rod Lawlor all fell at the hands
of the Chinese wildcards today at
the China Open. The tournament that
just named it's sponsor (Bank of
Beijing) the day before the kick off
also saw John Parrott have to drop
out due to medical reasons. So quite
an eventful day with Tang Jun
overcoming the in form Trump by five
frames to three with Xaio Goudong,
Tian Pengfei and Yu Delu also
securing wins over the pro's.
However Ricky Walden managed to see
off Cao Kaisheng 5-0 with ease
thanks to breaks of 75, 50, 105, 96
and 90. Stuart Pettman also had an
impressive 5-1 display against Cao
Yupeng knocking in breaks of 72,80,
84 and 69 with Cao managing a 66
break to win his only frame of the
