Walden gets the nod for Wembley

Snooker have just announced that
Ricky Walden has been granted the
wild card for the 2009 Masters
Event. Walden captured the Shanghai
Masters event back in October and is
up to 18th in the provisional World
Rankings and has now been given the
opportunity ahead of many big name
players. Ricky will now face Mark
King in the prelim round on Sunday
the 11th of January in London. Ricky
is joined by fellow Wild Card Judd
Trump in he draw for the week long
event.
