The Republic of Ireland Billiards & Snooker Association has just released details of a new junior Elite Squad for under 15 players. Academy Of Champions Coach PJ Nolan ran trials for this elite squad and Tom Hogan
(Nenagh), Josh Boileau ( Newbridge CYMS) and Aaron Tobin from Youghal CYMS have been selected and will receive free entry into every RIBSA event this season along with free coaching days from PJ.

PJ Nolan believes that highlighting the elite players at such a young age and advising them correctly on and off the table will help the players become the stars of the future.
This years Elite Squad will be sponsored by Nigel Power of firststep.ie and the three players will have Nigel's logos above on their waistcoats.
Nigel said this week that he is delighted to have his company linked in helping junior development of the game and he is sure it will be a great success.
RIBSA hope to pick 3-5 new players next season and PJ is already looking forward to attending this year's underage events and searching for the next prospective candidates.
