Rafal
Jewtuch from Warsaw captured the
Polish Championships for the
fourth time on the 16th of February
defeating Marcin Nitschke 7-6 in the
final. The
event was run over four days from
the 13th to the 16th in the 147
Break Club in Rafal's home city of
Warsaw and victory came in a close
last frame with Rafal taking the
title on the pink ball. Polish
Under-19 Champion Michal Zielinski
showed that he will be one to watch
as he made his mark on the senior
stage reaching the semi finals with
Jaroslaw Kowalski reaching the other
semi final. The
high break for the event was picked
up by Marek Zubraycki from Wroclaw
for a superb effort of 119.
