"It's a great feeling to end the year in style. It was extremely difficult because of the number champions in the fray."
The twin titles makes Advani only the second Indian to achieve the feat after Geet Sethi whom he beat to capture the National Billiards title.
Pankaj stated: "Snooker was the most difficult and the most satisfying one to win, because the last snooker title I won was in 2003. In 2007, I was concentrating more on snooker. Once I won the
Billiards title, the pressure was off."
Pankaj beat Aditya Mehta 6-1 with the following frame scores 54-42, 107-0, 58-23, 84-01, 82-22,49-65 and 62-60 to win the snooker title. |
