Ireland's Vincent Muldoon has finally received his letter from WSA confirming his acceptance to the 2008/09 Pro Tour. The youngster who has just finished his final exams in school
got the letter the day after his exams on Thursday. That delight was soon followed by a call from Maynooth University where Vincent hopes to receive their snooker scholarship. |

The youngster hopes to continue his studies while on the main tour and the college have given him every indication that he will have every opportunity to play on the tour as well as attend the college.
Vinny still has to get enough points to attend the course but is very confident of doing so. The college however are so confident that they have already bought a new Riley Aristocrat which will be kept in the college just for
Vincent and last years scholarship winner Johnny Williams. The €10,000 table will be a great advantage to Vincent and the college are also willing to help him obtain sponsorship also for
what will be a very tough season financially ahead of him. With David Morris finally getting his own brand new Riley Aristocrat this week the practice facilities for the Irish pro's is finally improving and hopefully will help
the likes of Vinny, David and Rodney Goggins make their way up the rankings with the other Irish pro's. |
