In other matches China's big hope Ding Jun Hui is feeling the pressure as 7 time champion Stephen Hendry turns the screw on the
youngster. Hendry had amassed a 10-2 lead at one point today only for Dung to wake up and breaks of 93, 94, 62 and 94 helped him to fight his way back to 11-5 with a lot to do tomorrow.
Meanwhile John Higgins and Ryan Day are neck and neck at 8-8 in a superb match although Higgins has not been overly impressed with the
table today. The cushions are due to be swapped out tonight and tomorrow should see a superb end to this match.
The fourth matchup of the day sees Ali Carter take on Shaun Murphy and it's not going the way of the ex-champion as Carter stormed
into a 4-1 lead at the start of play. Murphy managed to bring it back to 4-2 before Carter knocked in breaks of 41,45 and 100 to take the next two frames and a comfortable lead after the first session.
