should have seen two. Carter's 147 helped him to a 13-9 victory over the ex-champion and guarantees one debut performance in this years final where Carter or Perry will face either the world's greatest winner or the
world's most natural player.

Ronnie had drawn 4-4 with young Liang Wenbo in the first session of the match but a 76, 67, 56, 52, 57, 138 and 86 helped Ronnie run
away with the next six frames and led 11-5 at the break. Wenbo managed to get a couple back to 12-7 but Ronnie took the final frame with a 79 to end the match and progress.
