The Carter - Ebdon match was a superb match all day with 13 breaks over 50 in all with Peter Ebdon knocking in
the first century in the 10th frame with a superb 143 break. Ebdon then drew level at 7-7 with yet another century, this time a 113 which should have been a 147 of his own only to
break down on the last black before the colours. Carter though made the 15th frame one to remember as he knocked in his first championship maximum. Carter then took the next frame
to hold a slender 9-7 lead going into tomorrow's final session. The end of the break is available to watch below.
The Hendry v Day match saw Hendry race into a 7-1 lead after the first session. Day clawed his way
back to 8-4 this evening but Hendry managed to extend his lead by the end of the night to 11-5 giving Day an awful lot to do tomorrow.
The other two matches could not be any closer at 4-4 each with the Wenbo story continuing to run
and run with the Chinese youngster producing some stunning snooker today to draw level with the Rocket. Wenbo compiled two 80+ breaks and a 104 during this first session of this
match but can the youngster stay with O'Sullivan tomorrow?
The other match of the day has McGuire and Perry locked at four frames each also going into what
should be a great days play tomorrow at the Crucible. Could we see another 147?
